Bizmate Solutions has just released a new dynamic mobile web application on the Vodafone UK latest portal, the most visited mobile portal in the UK.

Highways Alerts is a free mobile web application. It allows users to check Highways agency alerts straight from the most common smart phones including iphone, androids, nokias and more.

To view it from your handset

go to http://myweb.vodafone.com (please note you need to be in the UK)

If you are not a Vodafone customer you will need to sign up

If you are on Vodafone you will see the MyWeb homepage

Click the "MyStuff" tab on the top menu or the "Add Content" link at the bottom

visit the Travel category

click on the plus icon to add the application to your MyStuff page

now return to your MyStuff page and see the Highways Alerts icon available

load the Highways Alerts by clicking the icon

if it is your first time on the application, all the main alerts for England will load

a list of alerts titles are available, if you are interested in a specific one click it to expand the full description

You can also see alerts classified for the major motorways or areas by clicking the configuration icon (top left of the application) and select a preference there.

once the option is selected click the "Done" button and the app reloads and shows relevant information as per preferences
